Planet Green TV - Now, one organization working to reverse the curse of global warming is the Boston Red Sox. Now, just a few years ago, the greenest thing about their park was the big wall in left field. But now they're transforming their team and their venerae ball park into eco leaders. Let's go, Red Sox! Man: Anytime you put 38,000 Boston Red Sox fans together, you're bound to create a heap of waste. But the oldest ball park in baseball is taking some modern steps to clean up its act.

Haas: the Red Sox are dedicated to becoming a more sustainable ball park to become more environmentally friendly. We know that the impact that sports has on the environment is very large, and we want to do our part to make sure that we leave this planet in the same condition as when we found it. Today, you're gonna go behind the scenes of Fenway Park to see how the Boston Red Sox have become more green. Some things that you'll see along the way are our newly installed solar thermal panels, recycling bins, and BigBelly solar-powered trash compactors.
